Uso del farmaco
Lipitor viene utilizzato in combinazione con una dieta per ridurre il colesterolo nel sangue e ridurre il rischio di infarto.E' stato dimostrato che Lipitor, meno conosciuto per il suo ingrediente attivo AtorvastatinIt, aiuta a ridurre in maniera significante il livello colesterolo ed di trigliceridi nel sangue dei pazienti, come pure a mantenere bassi questi livelli a lunga durata.
Meccanismo del gruppo di farmaco
Lipitor fa parte di quella classe di farmaci conosciuti come statinici, che funzionano bloccando un enzima nel fegato e che viene usato dal corpo per la produzione del colesterolo LDL . Il corpo produce cosi meno LDL ed il livello di LDL nel sangue diminuisce.
Posologia
Il generico Lipitor, come la controparte di marca, va assunto una volta al giorno con o senza cibo.
Dose mancata
In caso di dimenticanza della dose, nessun'azione specifica deve essere intrappresa. Continui ad assumere Lipitor come prescritto e consulti il suo medico.

Effetti collaterali
Come ogni altro farmaco, Lipitor o l'ingrediente attivo Atorvastatin, puo' avere alcuni effetti collaterali minori: diarrea, mal di testa, insonnia, vertigini, dolori articolari, mal di gola, infezioni alle vie respiratorie superiori. Alcuni effetti collaterali possono essere invece piu' seri. Conservazione
